Is there any property which states that quadrilaterals on same base between same parallels have equal areas?

Given statement is not always true as if one of the quadrilateral is a trapezium or both quadrilateral are trapezium with same base and lies between same parallel lines .

As we can have anther parallel side could be anything in case of trapezium .

But If we compare between parallelogram , rectangle , rhombus or in square we get same area .
