An example of negative thigmotropism is the movement of roots through the soil. Roots depend on touch sensitivity to navigate their way through the soil. When a root feels an object say soil particles, it grows away from the it.
An example, of positive thingmotropism is curling of tendrils around any support.
The movement of "Touch Me Not Plant" is not a form of tropism i.e thingmotropism. It is an example of nastic movement called thingmonasty as it does not depend on growth like tropic movements
