The oral contraseptive pill is a daily pill that contains hormones to change the way the body works and prevent pregnancy.
These pill contain the combination of estrogen and progestrone hormone which prevents ovulation. The women will not become pregant if she does not ovulate .These pills thicken the mucus around the cervix because of which the sperm will not be able to reach the uterus.
