Is water that is H2O is a molecule or a compound sir/mam I have lots of confusion is this single question

Even I can't able to find the answer on Google.......so please the whole answer in detail.....!!

Molecule- A group of elements.

Compound- Something made up of a few elements,

So, Water can be considered both as a molecule and a compound.

Water can be considered as a molecule b'coz it is made up through the chemical combination of atoms.

Whereas, on another aspect it is also a compound b'coz the two kind of atoms are involved in formation of water - some are oxygen and some are hydrogen.

So, basically its both a molecule and a compound
