Xenon: Xenon is a noble gas found in the 18th group of the periodic table. Xenon is not poisonous because of the following reason-
- Xenon is a non-toxic agent.
- Xenon is a noble gas hence it reacts only under specific conditions.
- Xenon itself is nontoxic but the compound which is formed by xenon is toxic.
- Xenon-133 is a radioisotope used as an imaging agent.
- A biological function for xenon is unknown so we can say that xenon is a non-toxic gas. but this is not true for the xenon compound.
Hence, Xenon is not poisonous.
