Solution

Explain whether zero is rational or not

A number is said to be a rational number if it can be written in the form of pq, where p and q are integers and q0.

  • We can write 0 in the form of 01,02,03,04,0-1,0-2,0-3,0-4

So, we can observe that 0 can be written in pq, and it satisfies the condition.

Hence, 0 is a rational number.
