isn't parathormone secreted by yhe parathyroid gland also know as paraphor or calcinotine which maintain calcium and phosphate levels?

Parathyroid gland produces parathyroid hormone while calcitonin is produced by thyroid gland. They are two different hormone controlling the same function of regulating calcium amount in bones and blood.
