In friction there are three types of friction as shown:

• Static Friction
• Sliding Friction
• Rolling Friction.

1. Static Friction $>$ Sliding Friction $>$Rolling Friction.
2. Rolling friction is lesser than sliding friction.
3. Because if we slide something the contact surface will be more and there will be more friction. And if we roll the luggage contact surface will be less so is the friction.

Hence, it is convenient to pull the luggage fitted with the roller.
