Solution

Malthus came to prominence for his 1798 essay on population growth. In it, he argued that population multiplies geometrically and food arithmetically; therefore, whenever the food supply increases, the population will rapidly grow to eliminate the abundance. In his theory is explained that the population is not only affected by the natural selection but also is affected by the abundance of the resources.
