H5N1 virus cause avian influenza or bird flu. It can also spread in human by a close contact with infected live or dead birds or H5N1 contaminated environments. The virus does not infect human easily, spread from person to person appears to be unusual. But now a days, it is spreading faster due to globalisation and increased movement of people.
