It is said that small intestine is the site for the complete digestion of Carbohydrate, protein and fat ? Why is it so?

duodenum of the small intestine recieves bile juice which is secreted by liver. bile juice helps in the emulsification of fats. This makes the alkaline medium for the action of pancreatic enzymes. Small intestine also recieves pancreatic juicesecreted by pancreas which contains the enzymes, trypsin and lypase. Trypsin helps in the breaking down of the protiens and lipase breaks down the emulsified fats. And Finally digestion is completed in the ileum
