It is said that the human body is a good conductor of electricity, then when we touch both the terminals of a cell, why we do not get an electric shock ?

Dear student,
Actually you are getting a small shock when you touch the terminas of battery.
But the current passing through you while you touch the battery is very small , that you cant even feel it.
So the current is passing, but since the amount is small, you are not feeling it.
