She has bought two kinds of chocolates, one Dairy Milk and the other Munch. She will give Dairy Milk to those who are at the seats labeled by a prime number. How many children will get Dairy Milk chocolates?
As the students who are sitting in a position numbered as by the prime numbers will get Dairy Milk, we have to first know the number of prime numbers from 1 to 40.
The prime numbers are 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37. Clearly we can see that there are 12 prime numbers, so 12 students will get Dairy Milk chocolates. Please note here that the number 1 is not a prime number. 1 is neither a prime nor a composite number.
