During this time, he visited Mathura, Kanauj, Kapilavastu, Kushinagar, Vaishali, Patliputra, Kashia and Rajagriha. He maintained a travelogue which recorded that Pataliputra was prosperous and had four religions namely, Buddhism, Jainism, Vaishnavism and Shaivism.
