The correct option is B 115
Road paved by 2311 tons of bitumen = 5 meter
Road paved by 1 ton of bitumen =5÷2311

First convert 2311 to an improper fraction.

2311=2×11+311=2511

5÷2311=5÷2511

Take a reciprocal of the second fraction and multiply that reciprocal by the first fraction as follows.

=51×1125

=5×111×25

=5525

Now, we need to simplify the resulting fraction

=5×115×5

Cancel out the common factors of numerator and denominator of the fraction

=115

Hence, 115 meters of road is paved by 1 ton of bitumen.
