The correct option is B12 days X does the work in 8 days.
∴ In 1 day X does 18 work,
Ydoes the work in 12 days.
∴ In 1 day Y does 112 work and
Zdoes the work in 16 days.
∴ In 1 day Z does 116 work.
So, In 2 days, X does 2×18 work =14work,
Now the work left after Y leaves=25% work =14 work
This is done by Z in 14×16 days =4 days.
So Y's share of work =(1−14−14) work =12 work.
This work he will do in 12×12 days =6 days.
∴ The total number of days required to finish the work
