Number of days taken for energy production by water = w

Number of days taken for energy production by solar = s

It is given that :
It takes eight more than thrice thenumber of days to produce energy usingwater power compared to solar.

w=3×s+8

If s = 9, then

w=3×9+8
=27+8
=35

It would take 35 days to produce 1 unit of energy using solar.
