Let the present price be Rs. K per dozen.
Price per unit Rs k12

Increased price =Rs.(k+2) per dozen

Increase in price per unit =Rs(k+2)12

Given, 56k56(k+2)12=8

12×56k12×56k+2=8

672×(k+2)672k=8k(k+2)

(81)2+11344=0

k2+2k168=0
