Number of bricks in Row I = 5
Number of bricks in Row II = 4
Number of bricks in Row III = 3
Number of bricks in Row IV = 2
Number of bricks in Row V = 1

Row II :
Here, 10×2=20
Similarly,
2×8=16
8×1=8
1×3=3
Thus, the numbers in Row II are the product of two numbers from Row I.


Row III:
Here, 20 + 16 = 36
Similarly,
16 + 8 = 24
8 + 3 = 11
Thus, the numbers in Row III are the sum of the two numbers from Row II.


Row IV:
Here, 36×24=864
Similarly, 24×11=264
Thus, the numbers in Row IV are the product of two numbers from Row III.


From the pattern, we can say that the number on the brick in Row V will be the sum of the numbers in Row IV.
