The volume of the bird house can be calculated by combining the volume of both the portions.

Volume of cuboid
= Length × Width × Height

Volume of upper cuboid = 8 × 2 × 3
= 48 cubic meters

Volume of lower cuboid = 4 × 2 × 5
= 40 cubic meters

Total volume = 48 + 40
= 88 cubic meters
