Let the price of each shoes be $x
Price of 4 pairs of shoes =$4×x
Discount amount =$24
Total amount paid =$96
Price of 4 pairs of shoes - Discount amount =$96
4x24=96

Add 24 on both the sides,
4x24+24=96+24
4x=120

Divide by 4 on both the sides,
4x4=1204
x=30

Hence, the cost of each pair of shoes is $30
