(a) The communication barrier being discussed in the given situation is “lack of proper incentive”. In the given situation, the employees were never appreciated or rewarded by the company.
(b) Such lack of proper incentives falls under “personal barrier”.
(c) Another communication barrier of the same category is lack of confidence of a superior in his subordinates. If the manager does not have confidence in the skill and competence of subordinates, he would not seek their advice or opinion.
