Solution

As per the question

Time taken by jaidev to walk across the school ground = 215 minutes = 115 minutes

Time taken by Rahul to walk across the school ground = 74 minutes

The LCM of 5 and 4 is 20.

115=11×45×4=5520 and 74=7×54×4=3520.

Now, 3520<5520.

74<115

Rahul takes less time.

The difference between the time taken by Jaidev and Rahul to walk across the school ground = 11574=11×47×55×4

= 443520=920 minutes

Thus, Rahul takes 920 minutes less than Jaidev to walk across the school ground.
