Solution

The correct option is A 150 degrees
At 5 o'clock, the minute hand is at 12, and the hour hand is at 5.
A circle has an angle of 360 degrees.

Since there are 12 hours on the face of the clock,
Angle made by the hands of a clock at each hour = 360÷12 = 30 degrees

The angle made by the hands of a clock at 1 o'clock
=30×1=30 degrees

The angle made by the hands of a clock at 2 o'clock
=30×2=60 degrees

In the same way, the angle made by the hands of a clock at 5 o'clock
=30×5=150 degrees
