The correct option is A240 yards Given, dimensions of lawn are 250 feet ×110 feet.
Fencing will be put along the sides of lawn. Hence, required length of fencing will be equal to perimeter of rectangular lawn.
We know, Perimter of rectangle=2(length + Width) =2(250+110) =2×360=720 feet
But, we have to find length of fencing in yards.
We know, 3 feet =1 yard ⇒1 feet =13 yards ∴720 feet =7203=240 yards.
Hence, 240 yards of fencing is required to fence the lawn completely .
