Jhon's marks=3640
Marcus's marks =4270

Step 2:Convert the fractions into percentage.

3640=x100

x=100×3640

x=10×10×9×44×10

x=90

3640=90100

=90%

Jhon's grade =90%

Now, repeat the above process to get y for the equation4270=y100

4270=y100

y=100×4270

y=60

4270=60100

=60 %.

Marcus's grade =60%.
