The correct option is B Rs. 30
Let the printed shirt = x
Plain shirt = y
As per the given statement form an equation as,
5x+3y=120 ----- (1)
4x+2y=100 ---- (2)
From equation (2)
2y=1004x
y=1004x2
Put the value of y in equation (1)
5x+3(1004x2)=120
10x+30012x=240
2x=240300
2x=60
x=30
Therefore the cost of an printed shirt = Rs. 30
