The correct option is C Rs. 5000 Let C.P = Rs. x.
Then, cost on repairs =10% of x=x10 ∴ Total cost =x+x10=11x10 Now 20% of 11x10=11000 ⇒20100×11x10=11000⇒x=50,000 ∴ Expenditure on repairs =10% of C.P. =10% of Rs. 50,000=10100×50,000= Rs. 5000.
