The correct option is C Rs. 5000
Let C.P = Rs. x.
Then, cost on repairs =10% of x= x10
Total cost = x+x10=11x10
Now 20% of 11x10=11000
20100×11x10=11000x=50,000
Expenditure on repairs =10% of C.P.
=10 % of Rs. 50,000 =10100×50,000= Rs. 5000.
