Amount of pizza eaten by John $=\frac{2}{3}$

Amount of pizza given to his sister $=\frac{1}{6}$

$\therefore$ The total amount of pizza eaten by John and his sister $=\frac{2}{3}+\frac{1}{6}=\frac{4+1}{6}=\frac{5}{6}$

$\therefore$ The amount of pizza left with john $=1-\frac{5}{6}=\frac{6-5}{6}=\frac{1}{6}$
