John was preparing tea. He added tea leaves and sugar in the water then he observed that sugar dissolved in water but the tea leaves did not. Looking at this situation we can classify tea leaves and sugar by which property?
Solubility and insolubility
While preparing tea, tea leaves do not dissolve in water that means tea leaves are insoluble in water. Whereas sugar dissolves in water which means that sugar is soluble. Solubility is defined as the ability of one substance to dissolve in another substance.
