Josh built a rectangular cardboard box 18 cm high with a square base and a volume of 2178cm3. After that he realized that he did not need a box that large so, he chopped off the height of the box and its volume reduces to 1331cm3. Find the height of the new cubical box.

The correct option is A 11 cm
(Length × Breadth) × Height
= (Base area) × Height
Base area = (217818)
= 121cm2
Length × Length = 121cm2
Length = 11 cm
Now,
1331cm3 = 11 cm × 11 cm × new height
New height = 1331cm3(11cm×11cm)
= 11 cm.
