Justify that a uniform circular motion is an accelerated motion?

Solution
In a uniform circular motion, the velocity of the object changes due to continuous change in direction of motion.
Though the object is moving at a constant speed, its velocity is not constant.
Thus for an object moving in a circular path at a constant speed, its velocity changes continuously and so there will be an acceleration in the motion that changes the direction of the body continuously.
Therefore, a uniform circular motion is an accelerated motion.
