Justify the statement 'plants and animals are pH sensitive' by giving example.

Dear student,
Due to acid rain the pH of the rivers and lakes are changed ( Less than 5.6 ) which increases the acidity of the water of the river therfore the survival of the aquatic life is difficult .
In case of the plants the pH of the soil is to be checked regularly for healthy growth of the plants . if the soil is little bit acidic in nature then farmer is advised to add limestone or quick lime in the soil.
