Solution

Given:

Amount paid hourly = 11.26

Hours worked in a day = 5 hrs/day
Total number of hours worked in 20 days = (5×20) =100 hrs

Amount paid at the end of 20 days = ₹ 11.26×100
Let us first ignore the decimal point and multiply the numbers.
= 1126×100 =112600
Now, there are 2 decimal places in 11.26, so we put 2 decimal places in 112600 and we finally get the answer:
Total amount earned in 20 days = ₹ 1126.00
