= 4×500 mL
= 2000 mL

Let us look at the conversion chart.


From the chart, we observe that to convert milliliters to deciliters, we divide by 100 as we have to go two units up.

1 mL=1100 dL

2000 mL=2000100=20 dL

Capacity of each of the new set of containers
= 2 dL

Total number of 2 dL containers
= Total quantity of juice2 dL
=20 dL2 dL
=10

Thus, 10 containers of capacity 2 dL can be filled with the juice that Kathy prepares.
