$\Rightarrow 2400\times x:2800\times (x+3)$

$\Rightarrow 6x:7x+21$

Total profit is $48,000$ Rs.

Kavita's profit is $18,000$ Rs.

$\Rightarrow \frac{6x}{13x+21}\times 48000=18000$

$\Rightarrow \frac{6x}{13x+21}\times 48=18$

$\Rightarrow 48x=39x+63$

$\Rightarrow 9x=63$

$\Rightarrow x=7$

$\therefore$ Vipin invested for $7+3=10$ months
