Question

Kavya left some jalebi on the table while watching TV. After sometime, she experienced an ant’s sting. As she looked around she noticed that red ants had attacked the jalebi.
She looked for something in the kitchen and found the following items- vinegar, baking soda, sugar and lemons.

(a) What should Kavya use to relieve herself from the irritation?
(b) Give reason for your answer.

a) Kavya should use lemons..

b) Lemon juice is a very good remedy for an ant bite on our skin. It will help to reduce the pain and irritation caused by the ant bite. It also prevents infection, lemon contains citric acid

Veneger and baking soda are bad for our health and skin...

Veneger contains acetic acid if dilution isn't correct it will be dangerous

But the natural citric acid in lemon isn't harmful...

So Kavya should use lemons
