Solution

Dear student,
Given:

Total number of tadpoles = 98012
Sum of tadpoles that has turned into frog on Monday , Tuesday , Wednesday , Thursday , and Friday
i.e. , 7642 + 1205 + 5435 + 6743 + 500 = 21525
1) Let number of tadpoles turned to frog on Sunday = x
Therefore, tadpoles turned to frog on Saturday is 5467 more than Sunday = 5467 + x

So now , 21525 + (5467 + x ) + x = 98012
26992 + 2x = 98012
x = 35510

Hence, tadpoles turned to frog on Sunday = x =35510
2) Tadpoles turned to frog on Saturday = 5467 + x = 5467 + 35510 = 40977
