Solution

1. Umbilical cord: It is the connecting link between the developing embryo or fetus and the placenta which helps in exchange of gas between fetus and mother, transportation of food etc.
2. Placenta: it is an organ that develops in the uterus during pregnancy. This provides oxygen and nutrients to the growing baby and removes waste products from the baby's blood. The placenta attaches to the wall of the uterus, and the umbilical cord arises from it.
3. Amniotic fluid: It is the protective liquid present in the amniotic sac of the pregnant female. It keeps the baby warm, provides lubrication to the growing parts etc. It acts like a liquid shock absorber for the baby.
