Female reproductive system:

  1. The female reproductive system include: vagina, cervix, uterus, a pair of ovary and fallopian tubes.​

Ovary:

  1. Females have a pair of ovaries. ​
  2. They are female reproductive organs which produces egg cell or ova.
  3. They are also responsible for the production of female sex hormones responsible for primary and secondary sexual characters.

Fallopian tube:

  1. The fallopian tubes are the tubular structures that connect the ovary to the uterus.
  2. The egg is carried from the ovary to the womb through this tube.
  3. Sperms encounter the egg in this tube in the case fertilization takes place.​

Uterus:

  1. The two fallopian tubes unite into uterus.
  2. In the case of fertilization, the embryo is implanted in the lining of the uterus.
  3. The embryo develops inside the uterus during pregnancy.

Cervix:

  1. The uterus opens into vagina through cervix.

Vaginal passage:

  1. The sperms enter through this passage during sexual intercourse.
