The correct option is B Virus
Laennec's cirrhosis is a severe disease of liver characterised by nodular appearance of liver which occurs due to excessive alcohol consumption or even from infection of Hepatitis B or C virus. In cirrhosis, first there is build up of fat in the liver. The healthy tissue of liver is then replaced by fibrous tissue due to which liver gets scarred and gives liver a nodular appearance. Permanent damage occurs to liver cells and the blood flow is blocked. This affects activities in liver like glycolysis and protein synthesis.
