Lagaan is levied on the $60 %$ of the cultivated land. The revenue department collected total Rs. $3, 84, 000$ through the lagaan from the village of Sukhiya. Sukhiya a very rich farmer paid only Rs. $480$ as lagaan. Find the percentage of total land of Sukhiya over the total taxable land of the village.

Sukhiya's total land = $\frac{480 x}{0.6} = \frac{480 x \times 10}{0.6 \times 10}$

$= \frac{4800 x}{6} = 800 x$

$∴$ Cultivated land of village = 3,84,000 x

So, required percentage

$= \frac{800}{3, 84, 000 x} \times 100$

$= \frac{80}{384} = \frac{10}{48} = \frac{5}{24} = 0.20833$
