Larger is the hydrocarbon higher is its boiling point.
True
As the number of carbon atoms increases in a hydrocarbon, its boiling point increases and vice versa. So, larger is the hydrocarbon, higher is its boiling point. The smaller hydrocarbons with 1 to 4 carbon atoms remain in a gaseous state at 20oC while larger hydrocarbon with more than 60 carbon atoms boil nearly at 600oC.
