Solution

The correct option is A 9000
As we know,
Largest four-digit number = 9999
Largest three-digit number = 999
Given ,
Largest number of pizza ordered = Largest four-digit number = 9999
Smallest number of pizza ordered = Largest three-digit number = 999

Let the difference be x.

The difference between largest and smallest order + Smallest number of pizza ordered = Largest number of pizza ordered
x+999=9999
Subtract 999 from both side,
x+999999=9999999x=9000
The difference between largest and smallest order is 9000.
