Discovered by Willebrord Snell in 1621 the law of refraction is also termed as Snell’s law. Snell’s law is given by $n_{1}sin{\theta }_1=n_{2}sin{\theta }_2$ where $n_1$ and $n_2$ are refractive indices the two different mediums. ${\theta }_1$ and ${\theta }_2$ are angle of incidence and angle of refraction.
