Let x be the age of Laxmi and y be the age of her father,

Then,

y=5x........(1)

After 5 years,
y+5=3(x+5)........(2)


Put y= 5x in equation (2)
5x+5=3(x+5)
5x+5=3x+15
5x-3x=15-5
2x=10
x=5


Laxmi's age, x=5

Father's age , y=5x=5×5=25
