Then, $r=-2$ and $\theta =-{60}^{\circ }$
$x=r\cos \theta =-\left(2\right)\times \frac{1}{2}=-1$ $[\because \cos (-\theta )=\cos \theta ]$
$y=r\sin \theta =(-2)\times \frac{-\sqrt{3}}{2}=\sqrt{3}$ $[\because \sin (-\theta )=-\sin \theta )]$
Therefore, $x$ is negative and $y$ is positive.
$\Rightarrow$ Point will be in the 2nd quadrant.
