Solution

According to the question the person is suffering from hyperopia, in this problem the power of lens of eyes decrease and we get unable to see the things clearly that are very close to our eyes because the rays that come from the object, pass through the lens of eye meet behind the retina.

These type of problems can be solved by using the convex lens (of appropriate power) because these lens converge the rays. According to the condition of eyes we can find the focus length and appropriate convex lens that is suitable for eyes.
