Question

Leaves are green due to green light reflection on plant ?

Open in App
Solution

Leaves are green in color because they contain a pigment called chlorophyll. Chlorophyll absorbs the visible wavelength of light in red and blue regions. It does not absorb green color so green color reflects back to our eyes.
