Solution

Addition of ice: 1 Mark
Dissolving more sugar: 1 Mark
Solubility of different substances: 1 Mark
More salt: 1 Mark
Other water soluble things: 1 Mark

The sugar should be added before the ice.

We can dissolve more sugar in warm water since sugar dissolves in warm water more quickly than in cold water. So it's better to add the ice after adding sugar.

Water does not dissolve equal amounts of different substances. It will dissolve different amounts of salt and sugar.

To dissolve more salt in a saturated solution of salt and water, the salt solution can be heated to make room for more salt particles to dissolve.

Other water soluble things include coffee and soap.
